
Have you ever wanted to know how to create your own website or blog for free? Here are a few websites you may not have heard of before that allow you to do just that. These are all free, and some of the most user friendly websites that are available.

In September 2010 Microsoft closed its previous blogging service and instead partnered with Wordpress.com for current blogging services. http://www.weebly.com/One of the easiest to use web-site creators, Weebly.com utilizes a widget style format that allows uses to drag and drop text, images and interactive content directly onto the page.
http://edublogs.org/If you are interested in creating an educational blog, then you might have the best luck with edublogs.org. Free of advertisements, and capable of launching podcasts is just a few of the perks of this blog spot.

And then there is blogger.com ... That is the blog creator site used for this very blog. The Google hosted site is simple to use, and capable of providing all of the necessary functions of blogging. According to Mashable.com, as of July 2011, Google intends to change the name of the service from "Blogger" to "Google Blogs," as part of a larger plan to re-brand or retire all non-Google brands in its portfolio of products and services.
